Brandee Going, MAcOM, LAc

Brandee completed her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from ASAOM in Tucson, Arizona in 2010. She then worked at a hospital in Haikou, Hainan, China, with Sean. Brandee has been providing professional and successful acupuncture treatments in Newington since 2012, owning and operating Ancient Roots Acupuncture before opening Connecticut's Best Acupuncture.

She has helped her patients achieve relief from persistent and chronic pain, neuropathy, migraines, digestive issues, as well as women’s health issues including infertility. Brandee is dedicated to ensuring her patients rediscover their health through acupuncture’s healing protocols. With years of training and experience in the field of acupuncture, she possesses the necessary skills to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to health and wellness for her patients. Brandee’s passion lies in helping people achieve optimal health.

Sean Going, DACM, LAc

In 2010, Dr. Sean completed ASAOM’s Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, then working in Hainan, China with Brandee. Dr. Sean continued his education and completed his Doctorate at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2019.

Ranging from 16 month-old infants to 96 year-old adults, Sean has treated patients with great success for a wide variety of concerns, including: neuropathy, fertility, all types of pain, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, menstrual irregularities, menopause, headaches, and fatigue.His background working in mental healthcare, coupled with his studies in both spiritual and religious themes, greatly enrich his practice of Asian Medicine and enable him to treat patients on multiple levels beyond managing only their symptoms.

Makayla is our attentive and compassionate Provider Assistant, always ready with a calming presence and a helping hand. Whether she’s preparing treatment rooms, assisting with therapies, or making sure each patient feels comfortable and cared for, Makayla brings warmth and professionalism to every part of the clinic. She’s especially inspired by the transformations she sees in patients over time and takes pride in being part of their healing experience.

As our Clinic Care Coordinator, she keeps everything running smoothly—helping with scheduling, answering questions, and making sure each visit feels easy and supportive.
